A Bold, Eclectic Home Renovation in Santa Rosa, California
Located in East Santa Rosa, this imaginative residential renovation celebrates the art of unexpected design, where bold color, layered textures, and playful architectural details come together to create a home filled with personality.

At the heart of the home, the redesigned kitchen features rich teal cabinetry, warm natural wood finishes, exposed ceiling beams, and a checkerboard tile backsplash. Terracotta-inspired geometric floor tile, stone countertops, and sculptural statement lighting introduce layers of warmth, texture, and visual interest. A generous kitchen island creates an inviting gathering space, balancing everyday functionality with expressive design.
Throughout the renovation, the interplay of color, pattern, and natural materials establishes a distinctive aesthetic that feels both curated and effortlessly welcoming. Every detail was considered to bring individuality and character to the home while maintaining a cohesive design story.
The result is a spirited interpretation of contemporary California living—a one-of-a-kind residence that reflects the homeowners’ personality and RHD’s passion for creative, highly personalized interior design.
