Crafted of wrought iron, this minimalistic white chandelier has a softness and beauty that belies its materiality. We used it in the dining room below to make a strong statement without detracting from the stunning water views.
2.- Lorford Smoke Bell Lantern
This lantern-style light fixture has a whimsical nautical quality that fits right into this waterfront bedroom. Featuring an aged-iron frame and mercury glass lantern, it has a voluptuous silhouette that sets the mood for the entire space.
3.- Hinsdale Pendant
I love sculptural lighting, especially in a minimalist space, like this kitchen in Marin County. This pendant feels unexpected, combining vintage-style globes with a modern brass stem. It’s like a recipe that blends spices that shouldn’t work together, but somehow still do.
4.- Blade Sconce
We used this handsome steel sconce to unify the different sections within this Santa Rosa Great Room. Its architectural frame is what really attracted me, and I love the contrast with the sweeping overhead chandelier.
This ceiling fixture from Apparatus Studio is one I’m waiting for the right project to use-it’s absolutely jaw-dropping and unique. Again, it comes back to the idea of combining sculpture with something functional.
